It's the Holiday Season.

It is impossible to grow out of holidays. Of course the mythical fantasies that accompany most holidays are sure to be outgrown, but the true spirit - that should always last. It doesn't require a belief in a big, jolly man from the north pole, or vampires, witches and ghosts, or a chocolate-bearing rabbit. It just warrants a little fun, a little adventure, a little childish spunk. Let loose and live it. They only come once a year. Bake cookies for Santa, feed the reindeer, carve a pumpkin, buy a costume, paint Easter eggs, hide chocolate. Embrace the day and its distinct traditions, silly, immature and impractical or not. It is the only time to get away with believing in something completely unbelievable. The only time to be that naive, enchanted child once again. You are never too old to enjoy a holiday - no matter what anyone will tell you otherwise. Our lives are too full of stress, responsibilities and practicalities to waste days like today - when you can forget all that and have some fun. And with that, Happy Halloween.
